This notice was prepared to inform the legislature of illegal and unlawful municipal inspections which have spanned over twenty years. It was sent by email March 20, 2017 to constituency offices throughout the province in an attempt to remedy the illegal and unlawful inspections. Only two constituency offices provided administrative replies but did not comment about concerns identified in the notice. I was hoping that the opposition would take some interest in the scandal. In reality the opposition was rather small as the PC government initiated the inspection sandal and the NDP embraced the scandal shortly after taking office in 2015. Also the recent merger of the PCs with the WR, indicates there really isn’t much if any opposition in the Alberta legislature.
